Hello All,
I'm an MBA aspirant working in IT company with 6+ years of experience, I got 7.5 in IELTS.
I have applied for 5 universities in UK.
1. Nottingham
2. Birmingham
3. Aston
4. Bradford
5. Strathclyde
I had an interview with Bradford and hoping to get an offer from them soon, wrt to the rest:
Aston - Waiting list (not sure what is the process)
Nottingham, Strathclyde and Birmingham - yet to receive a response.
I do not have to cushion of selecting the university at this point considering the fact that i started applying only in June, however, given an opportunity how should i go about. I want to specialise in Banking and Finance hence will be taking up Finance as specialisation.
Thanks in advance,
Anand.

Hi,
With your experience and IELTS score you should get into all of them, so don't panic... If you want to focus on Finance, your first option should be Birmingham, they have an MBA in Global Banking and Finance and have big names in the subject, such as John Cadle and Andy Mullineux. Second choice would be Nottingham or Aston I would say, although Aston Uni is not a nice place at all (you might want to take that into account). Nottingham is a large campus uni, just like Birmingham, and also is highly regarded in the UK. Bradford, not so good reputation in the UK.
Cheers,

Add - thanks for your reply.
I just found out that my application for MBA in Global Banking and Finance has been rejected from Birmingham University. I have no idea why; with Aston on waiting list and Strathclyde and Nottingham yet to respond. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed.
Thanks,
Birumanand
