Selecting appropriate bschool

Hello Everyone ,

I am from India looking for a MBA programme in UK . I am a B.Tech 2010 pass out currently having 4 years of regular work experience. 2 years of job experience and 2 years in my own Business(Steel Manufacturing) . After MBA i would like to grow my own Business. I have shortage of time so would like to enroll for sept 2014 intake. Due to commitment for business like to do full time 1 year MBA. I have got pretty decent academic records , only one drawback is due shortage of time can not give GMAT.

I have got few recommendation.
1. University of Strathclyde
2. University of Leeds
3. University of Birmingham

Any more recommendations are welcome.
My main goal is to generate enterprenual skills and gain global experience .
I am confused because of different feedbacks from different people.
Would appreciate suggestions with explanation.

Unless marriage plans make it impossible for you to delay, I would suggest you take the time -- even if that means a programme that starts in January like the Bradford MBA -- to take the GMAT and get into the best MBA you can. The opportunity cost is massive.

Yes, but why not apply now and get conditional offers? Have a 'insurance' offer.

Doing that would really involve getting to know you and your background, and then looking at your applications and transcripts. I don't have the time for that (unless you hire me) so I suggest you look at rankings and the schools I mention here Why you should take the GMAT http://www.find-mba.com/board/38939 .

The non-GMAT schools would be your insurance offer (the deposit is the insurance premium) and then look at the lower GMAT schools. Are January programmes possible for you?
