hi. I have unconditional offers from Newcastle and Southampton. I want to know the pros and cons of each.
As far as I know Southampton is a better University, but is fairly expensive as compared to Newcastle.
Newcastle or Southampton

btw, is there anyone else out there who have the same set of admits? How have you weighed the Universities?

Hi Ruthvika,
Given your work experience, i would suggest you to consider other top B-schools in the UK. Have you cosidered Univ's like Warwick/Lancaster etc.
Although your GMAT is slightly on the lower side, Univ's are more concerned about your,
1. Your Acads.
2. Your SOP
3. references.
4. Your work experience.
I feel you could possibly try out second tier Uni's whose Brand name will add more to your future growth.

Should I consider Strathclyde as well or it's totally out of my league?

Pl do... It is a Great place .. will suit. I think it will easy for you to get into MBM program there. My take is go for it.
1. Very good course content.
2. Course fee is very less for a reputed programme.
3. They have a option of converting that into an MBA after 3 years(But, i expect this to change having spoken to one of the admissions officer).
Do you have experience in IT? What are your majors in Bachelors?

@Susee: I am a BE in Electronics and Communication with a 76.5 aggregate.
@Baru: Thanks
I had visited the University fair here in Bangalore around Feb. I spoke to representatives from Bradford, Bir, Bristol, Brunel, Aston, Durham, Glasgow. They were not keen on my profile as I do not have manegerial experience. Southampton had given the same feedback, but today I have an offer from them.
Do you think that I must take this positively and apply to the above Universities?
