MBA from Good schools in UK to land up in Investment Banking or Corporate Finance role.

I am looking for Entrepreneurial finance with focus on Investments strategies such as Private Equity and Venture capital.

I am talking about Nottingham University Business School not of Nottingham Trent university. NUBS has elective Private Equity and Venture capital. Also Durham has similar finance elective.

Yes I went through LinkedIn and found Durham and Nottingham University Business School graduates have more graduates into Core finance profiles.

Yes I can consider Mif options ..please suggest few ?

How about Adam Smith ? good FT Rankings and have finance electives as per my requirement.?

Unless you want to study in a class with 95% Chinese students, do not pick Adam Smith.

If you want to come all the way to the U.K. and work with majority Indian students....pick Strathclyde!... they will all have about the same experience as you (4 years) but come from IT largely...

Disappointingly a very heavy bias.

Wrong, take a look at the MBA class of 2018, there is a picture on Strath Business Schools Instagram page. Only 4 people out of the class of 41 are Indian.

In addition, I see less than 5 Chinese students.

It would be odd if the class at any second-tier Uk MBA was not overwhelmingly from Asia. I can only see a picture of 41 members of the graduating class from Abu Dhabi and Dubai (https://www.instagram.com/p/BkmyayflVKQ/?hl=en&taken-by=strathbusiness) but this looks like a group of the Glasgow campus students (https://www.instagram.com/p/BgMn_2BBohi/?hl=en&taken-by=strathbusiness)

Ah right, makes sense. But as you said this is the same as any 2nd Tier MBA. Nevertheless however, Strath is a target school for Industry in Scotland, if you want to work in Scotland.

If you want to work anywhere else Strath is still a good option. But then again, a 1st tier school is always better.

If you were to choose a Business School in Scotland. Strathclyde would be the premier MBA however.

Strathclyde is certainly a strong option. The data do suggest that the University of Edinburgh has overtaken it quite firmly, UEBS MBAs are higher paid both on the way in and the way out.

PS Since Edinburgh is the financial hub, it makes sense that it is also the better option for finance and financial technologies.

That's not true of whole universities, of course, but it will be true of many full time MBA programmes.

ah yes my bad. I was referring to MBA classes. They do tend to be overwhelmingly international on many, if not most, business schools
The locals are in the MSc mostly, same as the rest of Europe

What was your decision in the end? I'm very interested in Adam Smith Business School, as well as Strathclyde but Strathclyde only if I can get a scholarship :)
