MBA Energy/Oil in the UK

Hi forum. I want to pursue an MBA in the Energy sector in the UK and would appreciate some insights. My goal is to be able to opt for more senior positions, as I already work in the sector and have a few years' experience (abroad). I've seen Edinburgh mentioned as a very good choice considering its costs (ROI), wages and location, though it's not the highest ranked. Is it generally more highly regarded than even Warwick for this sector? The top schools are considerably more expensive and I'm not sure if the ROI is so much better, but I'm keen on hearing any takes on this.

Thanks Duncan! I'm currently working in a project management role within the sector and looking to transition into a more strategic position, perhaps in energy consulting or a senior management role focused on sustainability and innovation. Ideally, I'd like to move into a role where I can influence company direction and policy, especially with the growing importance of renewable energy and carbon reduction initiatives.

Thanks for the links!

Definitely focus on a business function you want to work in. Consulting is at a very low point now. "Senior management' is found in many business functions, but unless you have P&L responsibility and deep people management experience, you won't do directly into senior management. Look at the roles that MBAs end up in after the MBAs you are applying for. Definately use the LinkedIn technique.
