MBA 2012 ! Please Help

egunner

Hi. I am planning for Sept/Oct 2012 intake. I am from India. Following is my profile :
Experience : 3 years ( By April'12) ,
Couple of months short of 3 years by the time of application.
Field : IT Industry.
Role : Developer ( Led and mentored my Juniors for past 8 months. Now handling 2 projects' development. Expecting a more senior position in 3-4 months)
Target Universities :

Bradford,
Nottingham,
Strathclyde,
Birmingham,
Aston,
Southampton &
Sheffield.
IELTS : Yet to take
GMAT : Impossible to take.
Academic Records: Good

I have almost made up my mind of doing my MBA next year.( I cannot postpone it further).
I have zeroed in on UK becoz i cannot take my GMAT(US & Canada ruled out). Also i am looking for quality MBA program to hone my managerial skills. I am pretty much open about returning back to India upon completion of MBA (Unless i get a really good job over there), so i am not very much concerned about PSW abolition.

Is my profile good enough for the above listed universities?

Will the lack of completion of 3 years( by 2-3 months) at the time of application affect my chances ?
Are there any other Univs which i should try? Kindly help me narrow the list to 3-4 univs so that i can apply for the best ones.

Please help me out.
Any suggestions are gladly welcome.
Fellow IT engineers and 2012 aspirants please join.

Thanks in advance to one and all.

there are universities in UK which can admit you but may not be very well recognized. I suggest wait for a year and join in 2013. You will get admitted in a better university.

It is a Good University. No University in UK will guarantee a job after MBA.

@ Gaju
Thank you for your reply.
I just wanted to know the general job situation in UK . I am very well aware that no business school will guarantee a job after an MBA but what is the condition of the average students there in UK.
Thanks

Job prospects in UK though are not positive these days but situation may improve in couple of years. The best way to get a job in UK is to work hard on networking. Register yourself with as many hiring professional agencies as possible. Keep in touch with your colleagues and seniors in India as well.Since you are in early days of career ladder you should be ready to take up a job even with smaller companies, Keep positive frame of mind and self belief throughout the course and try to score high percentage. I think there is always a job for those who want to work.

Wow !!

Wanted to listen to some kind of answer like that .Thanks for the reply . Everywhere I was getting only negative and demotivating answers . Thank you for keeping me directed towards my goal.
I have absolutely no qualms in working in small companies as long as I can sustain myself.
In the Indian media the UK market is projected as if it is worst in the world and everybody is dying of hunger.
Anyway thanks again for the reply and hope would get any further help (which off course will be required) from you.
