London: Cass / Imperial vs. LBS

I am looking at studying at a London school next year, and would like some input from the community...

LBS is without a doubt the best school in London, I am not disputing that. However, I wonder if it would be worth the investment (roughly £90,000 in tuition alone) for me.

I am looking to leverage my background in marketing, and add to it with general management and analytics skills, with the intention of landing a CMO position in another 5-7 years. In the interim period I would aim for marketing or general management level positions in tech companies. I am not thinking about finance or consulting as industry destinations because I may be a bit too old.

Given my short and long term goals, would LBS be worth it? I am also looking closely at more affordable alternatives, mainly Cass and Imperial.

Thank you for any advices!

LBS is way better value. Just compare the salaries.

Thank you, Duncan! I've read a lot of posts already and it's nice to see a response from you. 1f642

I guess my question comes down to this: I've seen the salaries, but is the average really comparable to what I could make in tech companies? Keep in mind that I do not plan on pursuing a career in finance or consulting.

Thanks!

Salaries at the Big Tech firms are probably quite comparable to those in some finance or consulting firms.

My overall sense is that LBS would most likely be worth the additional investment. Even though finance and consulting draw a lot of grads, it's not everybody who goes into these kinds of firms.
