IT programs in the UK

I'm wondering what the best schools are in the UK for IT. Warwick, Manchester or London Business School? I tried to do some research, but perhaps a personal opinion is a good start.

Most MBA programmes in the UK are general management MBAs. If you are already working in IT, then what business schools teach about about IT won't be very new for you. Big business schools will have more electives, so they are more likely to have courses on IT. Look instead for masters in IT management. Look at this list and sort by expenditure per student: http://www.guardian.co.uk/education/table/2011/feb/15/computer-sciences-it-postgraduate-masters-courses

Yes, thanks for the advice. I think I'm looking more towards IT management, as I have already two years work experience. Thanks also for the link. I'll be sure to check it out.

Thanks. What would you say the reputation is of City University London? I have a pretty high GMAT score, so I was looking into highly ranked schools. But I suppose it does make more sense to go with a program that has more specialization in IT, as opposed to just a general management MBA like the bigger institutes.

It's pretty good, but I think you need to decide whether you want an MBA because you want to be a general manager or a degree in IT management because you want to be a functional specialist. Very few top MBAs will have a real ebiz/IT specialisation: only Imperial or Aston in the UK. City is very good for IT...
