help: Got Admission in 4 Universities for MSc in finance and financial technology

sobkam

Hi,

Hope you are doing good.

I need assistance in making a decision. I have got offer letters from 4 different universities in the UK for MSc in financial technology.

1. University of Reading, Henley Business School, ICMA - MSc in finance and financial technology
2. University of Liverpool, Liverpool Management School - MSc in financial technology
3. University of Exeter, Exeter business School - MSc in financial technology
4. the University of Aberdeen, Aberdeen Business School - MSc in financial technology

King's College London - MSc in finance and Analytics - waiting for the decision.

Although I have got four offers, I am not sure which one to go for. I have seen FT rankings both for MBA (European business schools) and Finance, and Henley Business School has a very good ranking, which is better than others, but the other two, Liverpool and Exeter are from Russell Group. Now, I am confused and not sure which one to select. Though ICMA has better modules, others such as Exeter also have better modules to study for, Reading is close to London, a better option for networking.

So, please give your suggestion or enlighten on some information to make a good decision.
Time is running out as I have to make a deposit to secure my seat

Looking forward to your replies.

I am not sure what your goals are but, as you say, Henley is the strongest MSc and business school on your list.

Stuart, thanks for your reply. My goal is to work in the finance sector such as in investment banks or hedge funds where financial technologies are being applied. So, I have to make my best choice out of these four.

That's certainly Henley or a higher ranked MiF.

What about your thoughts on King's College London (awaiting decision), and other Russell Groups Universities such as Exeter and Liverpool, from which I have got the offers?

These are lovely universities with inferior placement support in  their business schools.
