Hello !
I saw that the University of Edinburgh's MiM is quite well ranked on the FT MiM Ranking.
But I've found out that its course structure is less comprehensive and lacks adequate management modules, unlike other MiMs. I am a bit curious as to why it is so well-ranked even though the course structure is not that great. (no offense, just my opinion)
Thank you !

It performs well on the ranking for the obvious reason: the ranking is a weighted product of the attributes used for the ranking. The course structure is not one of those.
The courses on offer seem very conventional. The only difference is that, like most Russell Group universities, there is a major disseration. Did you look at the course structure in depth: http://www.drps.ed.ac.uk/23-24/dpt/ptmscmgmnt1f.htm ? There are 120 credits in the degree. That's a lot of content for one academic year.
PS I see all the core management areas offered in the Edinburgh MiM:
- Accounting
- Analytics/Decisions
- CSR
- Economics
- Finance
- HRM/OB
- Operations/Project/Service management
- Marketing
- Research methods
- Strategy.

Oh, I see how it is now, sir. Thank you for sharing. I was a bit stunned
to find out that there were some strange areas like CSR, global
creative industries, organising for social change, etc.

CSR is in the core curriculum for almost every school now that it's one of the variables in the FT ranking. Creative industries like luxury, tourism and marketing are important employers in Scotland.
