For a prolong period Bradford is telling that they will get AACSB accreditation....But still there is no proper reply from them...Since they are in tail portion of FT rankings...looks like if they dont get AACSB accreditation they may fall any time...
Are they using this accreditation as marketing gimmicks?
Any ideas...Pl do share...

As per my discussion with the recruitment team, to get the AACSB accreditation is tougher than AMBA and EQUIS. AMBA and EQUIS took roughly 9 months..but AACSB takes four years if everything goes right. Currently, Brad is in its third year and hoping to get it in its fourth year. Worst case scenario he said would be 5 years..

Guys instead on concentrating on the accreditations....focus on the curriculum and knowledge you would be exposed to in a particular MBA program.
These accreditations will not make you what you want to be but the knowledge will.

I think MBA is closely linked with branding...If you think academic alone is vital factor you could have done it in some unknown college here itself.....What you are doing in this thread?
MBA is a simple degree offered everywhere in this world....Then why there is a difference in pay between Harvard and some un known univ.....Everything is MBA.....
So before commenting think twice....

Dude no offence..........But that was my personal view..........I have used the rankings and accreditations in order to short-list the universities where I wanted to apply. But after that its the add-ons linked to a course that makes the difference. I do not think a university such as Bradford needs to do such gimmicks. As far as the job is concerned, if your knowledge is not upto the mark then even a Harvard MBA can't take you long.
PS. Just a personal opinion.

Again you have mistaken.....Its not about knowledge.....That every one knows...Its about initial good start....

Dear Susee,
You might be right but its just my opinion. What I have said is from my experience.
