Aston, while a good UK school, generally doesn't get included in the FT's global rankings. Maybe in a few more years as the program has a chance to build its reputation.
In the meantime it places quite well in the FT's European rankings, where it has been improving over the past few years. It's currently ranks 35 - in a cluster with Bath, Mannheim, Durham - about where we'd expect it for the moment.

Well that's not completely true. It was included in the FT Global rankings for year 2010 (73) and in the Global rankings for The Economist which MBA.
I have an unconditional offer for 2011-2012 MBA full-time. I'm gona have to do some more research !!

According to the Aston MBA director, ?Aston Business School met the alumni response rate. But unfortunately, not enough of these reponses provided salary data.?

Yes, that's what i have been told!
Aston should refine the alumni network and improve it. It's the weakest link in the School.

The alumni network is one of the most important elements in choosing a school in my opinion. Its a source of reputation with employers, jobs in the future and is an accurate reflection on the types of people you'll be studying with in your own course.

I couldn't agree more with you.
However sometimes weaknesses are present in anything. At Aston, unfortunately it's the alumni network.
I have received an unconditional offer but I am very skeptical and do not know if i should invest my time and money at Aston.

Even I too hold the unconditional offer from ASton for Sep 2011. Not sure what reason its missing.
