Take look at http://www.degreeinfo.com/general-distance-learning-discussions/40041-charter-oak-vs-thomas-edison-state-college.html You would not have to take courses with those schools: you could take courses with a wide number of providers. They would charge under $10,000 for someone in your position, assuming that you attended a university they recognise.
Low GMAT score! :(

Ah... I see that at Charter Oak you would need to take two of ther courses: http://www.degreeforum.net/excelsior-thomas-edison-charter-oak-specific/20698-need-urgent-help-my-degree-plan.html
I suggest you post on that site, and on http://www.degreeinfo.com/ , a note about your position and I am sure you will get great advice if you ask for it. From and MBA point of view, and more broadly, I can confidently say that your best route is to complete your undergraduate degree.

I see what you mean, will post some questions on that blog soon.
What is the time boundation for a course like this Duncan, assuming I take 2-3 courses from one of these colleges?

I should also add that Charter Oak State College, Excelsior College, and Thomas Edison State College are the *classic* choices for someone in your position, but there will be others that I don't know so well. All three of them specialise in helping people get degrees for incomplete prior study so they will talk you through the process very well, I am sure.

Hi Shankar,
Just to be clear: your GPA on a 4-point scale is 1.3?
In any case, I suggest working on your GMAT score, especially your verbal. If your GPA is that low, admissions committees are going to be looking at other parts of your application for strengths that would make up for it. Since your current GMAT verbal score puts you in the 5th percentile of all test-takers, this is not a good sign.
You seem like a bright guy, so I think that with a bit of focused practice and perhaps some English lessons, you could easily get your score up substantially.

I am an automobile Engineer and currently working with Yamaha, I have a work experience of 3 years and a GPA of 3.0/4, I have got a decent score in PTE-A(71/90). I decided to prepare for GMAT on August, 2014 and gave my GMAT in October.
I got a really bad score in GMAT( 340/800 ) as I was not able to concentrate on the GMAT preparation.
I am really frustrated and cannot give GMAT again, but I want to start with my MBA by this year (2015).
Please someone guide me what should I do. I got admission in UK because they didnt ask for GMAT score but I really want to start my career in US.
Can a person having a GMAT score of 340 able to see himself sudy MBA in USA??
Is only a 650-740 GMAT score will judge a person's intellect??
I am sorry Rahul Singh But I am taking few lines from your question as I am facing the same Dilemma
.
I am so frustrated here in my job that I do not want to wait even a single year and go for an MBA. I am so frustrated that I am open even to rank 250 in US.
Please do not suggest me to prepare more, if you can suggest me colleges which will be value for money rather and not fetching a high paying job but a decent salary to start my career in USA.
Please reply as i really need some guidance now.

Sat Sharma
