Hello All,
I am an IT professional with 15 years of technology experience and now onset to pursue a full time MBA to pivot my career from Technology to Strategy and consulting.
I have applied to the MBA program in UK and Netherlands and have received offers from Cardiff, Exeter, University of Glasgow and awaiting the final offers from Leeds, Lancaster, Maastricht business school, TIAS.
What would you think will be best to pursue an MBA form considering that I want to leverage my technology experience to gain the jobs and access to international market but move to the strategy and consulting roles in these firms?
I thank you in advance for your help.

None of these programmes will lead you to the major strategy consultancies.
What are your career goals, in terms of role, company and location?
What is the "Maastricht business school"? Do you mean MSM or UoM?
PS and I assume you speak no Dutch, yeah?

Hello Duncan,
I have clear goals to be in senior project management consultant or strategy consultants in either a consultancy firm or a technology fintech.
UK and Netherlands are my target geographies having their stronghold in both technology, fintech and consultancy.
Example : https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/search/?currentJobId=3586174324&geoId=101165590&keywords=strategy%20consultant%20fintech&location=United%20Kingdom&refresh=true
Yes, I meant MSM.
I do know English, business level French and now learning Dutch as well. I like to learn languages.
PS:
1. I am not considering the scholarships as a bias point and hence haven't mentioned them.
2. I do have a very good technical delivery and some technical management exposure, but need business knowledge and exposure to fast-track my career to management roles.
Your help is highly appreciated.

I think you can refine these goals much more narrowly. My guesses:
- you want to manage technology-centred projects in a firm with a IT or business advisory heritage
- you will not get into strategy consultancy
- fintech have a challenging market and, even when the times were good, look for focussed technology expertise not MBA consultants with general management skills
- Your language skills essentially eliminate many client-facing roles outside the UK and Ireland.
Take a look at the posts linked from my profile page about: linkedin, international mobility, and learning the language.
Refine your goal to a working hypothesis: which role, in which firm, in which country can you add the most value? Then look at those people: where did they study, and do they even have MBAs?
