Hi Guys,
I am wondering if MBA from top 10 UK b-schools will hold any reputation in Australia. I currently work in Australia and do not mind coming back here after MBA (given to strict work visa rules in UK I might just have to). However there are just couple of globally ranked B-schools here and they are too pricey for me. Given to the large population of Brits in Australia and since most of them have lived in UK for some part of their lives, so are well aware of the b schools there so I think finding employment post MBA would not be an issue. Other options I have are RSM and WHU (not so well known in Australia). Has anyone got any insight on this?
UK MBA valued in Australia?

Use LinkedIn to see which schools have the best placement.

I'm not sure I follow - the MBA at RSM is 47,000 EUR - but the UNSW MBA is just over 80,000 AUD, which isn't that much more than the RSM MBA. Wouldn't investing the additional 8k EUR be worth it to go with a school that has proven placement in Australia?
I think it's a bit of a faulty assumption that since there are Brits in Australia, the UK MBAs will be valuable to the business community there. Check LinkedIn - a strong majority of MBAs working in Australia have studied at the top schools in Australia. There's a smattering of UK schools represented - LBS, Oxbridge, etc., but as you well know, MBAs from these schools will cost more than those from local schools.
