Is that even a comparison ? UCLA is in a league of its own.
Thanks.</blockquote>

I wouldn't rush to put IE into the same league as UCLA.
I can't seem to find the IE recruitment/placement information for 2009, but let's look at the UCLA information
http://www.anderson.ucla.edu/Documents/areas/adm/cmc/EmploymentReport.pdf
Page 12 gives a breakdown of the top hiring organizations (4 students or more from a total student body of 360). There, we have the top organizations like McKinsey/BCG/Bain//Apple etc. Maybe we should compare that against IE's report.
Here is IE's report
http://imba.ie.edu/pdf/placement_report.PDF
It doesn't give such a detailed breakdown as UCLA does. But the industries they enter seem to have similar percentages. However, for jobs outside Spanish speaking countries, I would still stand by UCLA instead of IE. Maybe for an international scene too, unless somebody can get a better and more detailed report on IE to show that it out performs UCLA.

Thanks for the replies, all!
Just a little bit of background on me. I have about 7 years experience at a fortune 50 in several countries. GMAT score is 670.
so far these are two of the schools i've been looking at and am interested in...but i also know very little about the perceived "prestige" of the two in the job market, which is why I posted on here.
Thanks a lot for all the replies..they are very helpful.
