Target schools with GMAT of 680[Q49,V34]

Neither Vlerick nor EDHEC are *very* well known generally, but in finance EDHEC is better known globally. Its partnership with Yale reflects that as does its #3 placing in the finance ranking (http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/masters-in-finance-pre-experience-2014). But they are, respectively, 16th and 17th in the ranking of European business schools (http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/european-business-school-rankings-2014). EDHEC is very well known as a finance school, and of course has finance-centred campuses in London and Singapore, while Vlerick has a joint EMBA in financial services.

I am sure you have seen that the percentage of students employed after Vlerick is not very high: that is the sort of outcome. Use LinkedIn and compare where the students end up. If you're focussed in programme management roles in the finance sector in Paris and Brussels then look at the top schools for those roles, and go there. That means HEC, ESSEC or Insead in France, probably, and in Belgium you'll probably see that Vlerick and Solvay are the leading schools. If you want to hedge between Brussels and Paris, then the structure of the Solvay Ponts MBA would also give you time for an intensive French course and for networking.
