Dear Abhi,

It depends where you want to do your MBA.
Good programs in the US will definitely cost more money than this. In Europe you can find good but cheaper MBAs.

Do I undestand you well, and this is the money you can sepnd on tuition, but you have other sources for living costs? Otherwise that can put high financial pressure on you also, depending on the country.

Thanks Jona.

This is how I plan to do it. I am planning for a Feb 09 MBA intake. I will save up some money which will fund my living costs. I will get a education loan for my tuition fees.

I want to limit my Tuition fees to 8 Lacs that's US$ 19000. Living costs will be extra. I will pay for the living costs by all the money I have saved up and will try to work part time during the course as well.

I am specifically interested in a 1 year MBA because then I wont be out of my industry and the market for toll long so skills will not be considered as outdated. I believe there are more 1year courses in UK and Europe than in the US. I am not specific on the location just that the institute should be of a good repute.

Another very important things is I don't want to appear for GMAT. So for admissions I will rely heavily on my work-ex. And I have some solid work-ex to back me.

Thanks in advance.

Abhi.

In Europe you´ll find a lot more 1-year MBAs, you are right. Most of them require GMAT though.
I´ll try to find out for you if there is a program which would suit your needs.
