You need some work experience to be accepted to any serious MBA program. 5+ years would be ideal.

Hi, I have been working in the finance industry since the past 7 years. I am planning to pursue my MBA next year and I am looking for colleges abroad. As I have more than 5 years of work experience, I am planning to take up an EMBA program. I have gone through various course structures of different colleges but I am not able to analyze which are the important parameters to keep in mind while selecting a college. Can someone please help me out?

Hi Sakshi, I have been an education consultant for more than a decade and I have been studying the various MBA trends for quite some time. According to me, following are the important parameters while selecting an EMBA program:
• International recognition of your degree
• Flexible study options
• Industry relevant curriculum
• Good ROI
• Networking

Melbourne is a good MBA school, but its EMBA doesn't get into the top 110: http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/executive-mba-ranking-2014 I think the FT ranking is an excellent guide.

hi Sakshi, in my view, it is always better to opt for a full time/ part time MBA program, due to appropriate exposure. It will give you a real time learning. Others may give you name, but not what is required to be in real time. My personal suggestion, if can't go for a fulll time, find a concerned course in your city with part-time, Will synchronize you best !
