I would seriously recommend Richard Sennet's new book, 'The Craftsman', 2008, all about the problems of management and the culture of business today.

Thanks. Working on an assignment where I am required to compare organizational culture to organizational structure and whether the former now predominates as a means of organizational control. Regards.

Then I think this might be really useful to you. Sennet is very serious, but really interesting, writes well, and tends to have a new perspective on things, so you'll be out there at the front of the class.
