Hi everyone! I'm Portuguese and just moved from the U.S. to China. I want to do a MBA and am considering an online program. I have a kid and work from home. Also, I live in Tianjin and the 'traditional' programs seem to target professionals with only a few years of experience, which is not my case. What online programs would you recommend? I'd eventually like to go back to the U.S. or Europe. I'm not looking for a program with strong emphasis in Finance.
Thank you so much in advance!

The FT has a good ranking of online MBAs. Try those. Also consider programmes with a small residence in a China, like the Manchester global MBA in Shanghai.

I'm not sure that doing an online MBA is the best bet if you're looking to transition to the US, given the issues with visas and residency, etc. Maybe a school like IU Kelley has decent connections with industry in the US, but I'm skeptical about whether online students have full access to these kinds of resources. Ask the schools directly.

In general a top ranked program like IE's Global MBA or the Warwick program are your best bets. Since you have EU residency international mobility to Europe should be markedly easier for you than to the US.

Would it ever be possible to use an online MBA to transition to the US? I am not a resident but would like to move there someday.

I cannot see a way that it would help with a visa application. A PhD would help, since faculty roles are outside the quota system.
