Hi,
I sent the deposit for Fordham then we had a zoom call the next day and it kind of went pear-shaped. I was looking at pre-MBA internships that would end in July and didn't plan to move until July to NYC. Fordham had zoom calls the day after sending them our money and stated we would start early in July, not August suddenly. Now everything is turned upside down in terms of planning. Fordham said on the call to one guy who was concerned about this that rent is cheap in NYC move now, but our loans won't be distributed for months. Now I don't know what to do.
Someone already posted on Reddit in more detail. Why keep this a secret.

Good discussion on that thread. What's the best way for other Fordham applicants to organize together?

Honestly I have no idea except the international students may not be as inclined in fear of retaliation in my opinion.

Other things being equal, the right choice for many students will be to walk away from the deposit and apply to a better school next year.
