Hi All
I have received admission letter for both iMBA and Masters in Big data from IE spain.
I am a B.Tech graduate from India with 3.5 years of work experience in IT sector.
I don't know any of the EU languages however i still have time to learn spanish before the commencement of the Big Data programme(october).
I would like to invite any kind of suggestion regarding my future career at IE.
I would like to know more about the Big Data programme at IE as it is the second batch.
I would like to know if their curriculum meets the industry standards and do they have enough tie ups to get internships or jobs in Big Data.
What Is the possibility that i can find jobs in EU as i dont speak any of their native languages. Maybe ireland can be one option as they speak english and they have a lot of multinational IT companies where I can find jobs in Big Data.
Any sort of information or suggestion is highly welcomed and apprecisted.
Thanks in advance

How will you be able to learn Spanish by October? That's impressive. Are you there now, in an intensive language course at a business school?

Hi Duncan
Nice to see your reply. I have already gone through your post reffering importance of knowing native language. However I am more concerned about the course curriculum and job oppurtunities. I have no issues working after coming back to India either.
No I am still in India and looking to join a course here. Does that help.
Thanks and regards

If you want to work in India, study in India.
I don't think there is any course in India which can get you to get to professional fluency in Spanish, or even half way, by October.

Hi Duncan
Why are you so furious in your answers. I am looking for a genuine reply from you. I am looking to study in IE because its one of the premiere institutes in the world. Moreover getting into premiere institutes in India such as the IIM is not my cup of tea.
I would still like to hve your opinion about pursuing Big data course from IE and my status in International Market.

I'm not furious. I'm stating the obvious.
Use this approach to see where alumni of the IE program end up: How to use LinkedIn to find the best school www.find-mba.com/board/33571 Generally, it's Spain or their home country. To work in Spain, you'd need to speak Spanish at the level of professional fluency. Labour markets are profoundly national.
