Hello,
I have seen some posting and comments on the Kelly-Manchester MBA program, while I am looking for the blended or on-line EMBA programs. Appreciate any advice on this program.
I have about 14 years of experience mainly in real estate investment and asset management in Korea, and hold BA in business administration and MS in real estate.
Since my role has recently expanded to cover management of the company, post MBA goal is to add on good brand equity of MBA on my senior management profile while building up general management skills. In terms of location and industry, still continue to work in Korea and later may consider expanding to cover other Asian market such as Singapore.
I have considered EMBA from NUS, but the workshop schedule seems rather challenging to me as I am not able to take a long leave every quarter. Instead, got to know that Manchester is providing flexible programs and seems that Kelly-Manchester program offers the highest level of flexibility with combined good brand name.
My questions are;
- Is this program regarded as EMBA equivalent or more suitable to the middle level careers with more academic curriculum?
- Is my understanding correct in terms of good brand reputation of the program. I could not find many alumni from linkdein. Maybe this is relatively new program compared to others?
- Any other school to recommend for my case?
Thank you
Kelly-Manchester MBA

This is an unusual option to look at. Are you Korean? Perhaps a Korean programme would be more useful for you?

Thank you Duncan for your comment.
Yes. I am Korean and have worked at Korea office of Singapore based real estate firms where I thought global reputation would also matter.
I also had looked at Korean programs, however most programs still require on campus classes on weekdays and their brand reputation does not seem to be impressive internationally.
Do you think K-M option does not add any value?
Thanks.

Of course any respected MBA will add value. Which school adds the most value, within those that meet your constrains and preferences, is another. What limits on attendance are you placing?
