Imperial or Warwick Part - time MBA

Hi All

I am working in a big 4 in the technology practice based in London. I am looking to do a part time MBA and I have offers from Imperial and Warwick Business School.I am not looking to change function or geography at this stage but to grow in my organisation.

Could you please advice on which school is better on these three parameters :

1. Reputation in the UK

2. Reputation in Asia and Americas

3. Better overall MBA Programme

4.Better DL MBA Programme

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my query.

There are, I think, few settings where Warwick is not seen as a better business school. Almost certainly, you know it is more highly ranked and has a more powerful MBA network. Are you really asking something else? If this is not obvious to you, I wonder if you have clarified your goals or evaluated the right options.

Your goals are not clear. Do you want to impress future father-in-law in a Commonwealth country? If so, Imperial is a great choice. Do you want a solid MBA education? Both schools offer that. Do you want a solid core curriculum? Take the Illinois IMBA.

PS If you want a school that is famous all over the world, try the ALM at Harvard.

I agree with Duncan.  Also, what would it matter on the degree's reputation in UK, Asia and the Americas?   Why not focus on a specific country?  If you are content staying in London/your employer, why not look at your company's executives and see where most (if any) got their MBAs.

Just purely from a tech perspective, when I've looked on LinkedIn at CIOs in the UK with an MBA, Warwick came up much more frequently than Imperial.

I just searched on LinkedIn for UK MBAs in the technology industry who work for the Big 4. Warwick is the school with the most alumni.
