Dear Experts,
I am from Canada and have secured admission to both iMBA of the University of Illinois and the distant MBA from Warwick Business School but not sure which one might be more suitable for me, and your suggestions might be beneficial.
I have over 30 years of experience in teaching, financial service, business coaching, and for the last 10 years, I have been a business owner. My purpose for an MBA is to expand my education business and, if possible, diversify and start a new venture.
I would not be looking for a corporate position at this stage. Price wise iMBA is about $28000CAD, and Warwick MBA is CAD 60000, and I will be self-funding the course.
Warwick seems to have a smaller cohort size and more networking opportunities with excellent career guidance opportunities. Illinois might have more students in the cohort from different parts of the world.
Which one might be a better fit?
I would appreciate it if you could please offer your inputs.
Thank you.

I don't think Warwick has any notable advantages.

Hello Duncan,
Thank you, just wondering if the ranking matters! Warwick is ranked in the top 3 for online MBA and the school has a strong reputation for entrepreneurship ( that is my focus). Gies college did not participate in any ranking at all. I am not 100 percent sure about the opportunity for entrepreneurship as an elective at Illinois.

I am a student of the distance MBA at WBS. I would highly recommend the course for its flexibility and a real focus on changing your approach with a broader point of view. You can also apply for a scholarship based on your extensive experience and candidature. YES, ranking matters.
