HTW MBA&E or HS pforzheim MBA IM

HI Duncan,
Can you please suggest that after Germany which European country has the better market?
Not counting UK.
Is it France or Netherlands?
and studying in which of the country will increase my chances of successfully finding a job in other neighbouring countries such as Belgium, etc etc
and I have gone through the course content of Edhec & Nyenrode..
Edhec's program seems to be more professional & industry oriented, they are concentrating on consulting, strategic business, and their web pages feels like they have good industry connection. and program length is 15 months so I get more time to adapt and acclimatize in comparison to 9 months in Nyenrode.
Doubt is that Edhec said they will have teaching for 8 months and rest 7 months for internships & thesis, IS this normal? Isnt it less classroom time? or this is how it works?
Additionally their batch strength is around 100, Is this the sign of a successful run program or not so good thing to be?

ON the other side Nyenrode is focussing mostly on Finance & Banking, Entrepreneurship
& Sustainability. and of course I get only 9 months to be there. As I have worked in Consultancy services, am I wrong if I think Edhec's curriculum is more relevant?

8 or 9 months is normal for a one year MSc. You can get macroeconomic data online. Focus on your goals. I dint know about career services at Nyenrode, but EDHEC is strong.

Hi Duncan,
I wanted to ask you about Industries in Netherlands.
what are the noticeable companies across various sectors there, because as much I know it's economy is mostly dependent on dairy.

Wikipedia has your answer.

Also take a look at How to use LinkedIn to find the best school www.find-mba.com/board/33571 and use this method to see where the alumni are. Few will be in the diary indusry.

I would need to know more about you, your strengths and weaknesses, to anticipate what problem might arise in the interview. Obviously not everyone has the budget to hire me, but there is lots of excellent guidance online, and really not much bad advice, about preparing for MBA interviews.

Interesting choice. I think that MSc is offered privately by the RWTH International Academy, not by RWTH Aachen itself. As a result, I am not sure what access you will get to RWTH Aachen facilities (although, of course, the curriculum is set by RWTH Aachen). This is, perhaps, comparable to the University of London International Programme courses, where the lead college sets the course but the student is not really part of the lead college community. Students in the MSc have to find their own internships (university HiWi internships, which often use English, are not allowed), and with only B1 German and an English-speaking MSc I wonder how far you can progress.

Honestly, I think the Academy's two-semester MSc looks pretty light compared to the German-language four-semester RWTH Aachen MSc on the same topic, and I think employers will already have learnt that Academy alumni are not like the RWTH Aachen studenents.

Uness you hear the opposite from Academy students, I think the better choices are to take the RWTH Aachen MSc in German, or to take the MBA.

The German labour market is profoundly regional, so most alumni seem to end up in Baden-Württemberg, Hesse or Bavaria. Use this approach: How to use LinkedIn to find the best school www.find-mba.com/board/33571 and you can see where many alumni end up. It seems much better than the other German Fachhochschulen.

If you search this board, you can also get some insight. I think average salaries are around 60,000 euro: much more than the 'freshers MBAs' and much less than the top schools.

Dear Duncan, I am seeing more and more students from India interested in Pforzheim MBA also and taking admissions into it too in good numbers compared to other countries..is it might be due to increasing number of German companies (including many top German brands of some sectors which till now didn't had their base in India) establishing/expanding its offices/factories in India and recruiting majorly even in recession times? I have also read about German Government pretty much actively working in tandem with Indian Government related to business..
