Could anyone out there recommend some top Global MBA programs? I'm interested in finding out more about this concept - what they offer, the traveling experience, the advantages of completing this degree, etc. Many thanks.

Hi Angie again,
I have no idea what global MBAs differ from "not" global but perhaps these rankings can help in somewhat: http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/global-mba-rankings-2011

After a little research, I think it depends on the Global program. I know the IE Business School Global MBA program is an online program that is basically just a name, meaning it accepts students from around the world, but the students actually stay in their home country with hardly any travel. Of course, I've heard of others that do allow students to travel to other countries for an actual global perspective. I think the work 'global' is a little overused these days.

Hi Mancheter got one of the best global mba specially with their oversease study centres around the globe.
In terms of ranking they are 29th in the world and i am pretty sure you will see them coming up to the 20th in next couple of years.
Plus it is one of the very business schools which got triple accreditation.

Thanks for the tip about Manchester - I'll definitely look into that one. I like this idea of traveling to different countries, like these 'overseas study centers'. I'll check out the info about Durham too, but there's something contradictory to me about 'global' and then just staying at home and learning through a distance/online structured curriculum. I'm more keen on actually being on a campus. So Manchester might be something interesting for me. Thanks again!
