EMBA Lancaster vs Aston vs Tu Wien etc

Hello!
I've been working as a senior manager in a fintech company based in Ukraine for four years. I have worked as a software engineer and engineering manager for more than seven years.

I am interested in working as a manager in the UK's fintech sector or at big tech companies and possibly in the EU later on.
I'm considering taking an EMBA course at either Lancaster University, Aston University, Strategic Management & Technology at Tu Wien, the Pan-European Executive MBA at York City College and Warsaw University of Technology.

I am curious to know if any of these EMBA programs will enhance my job search effectiveness in the UK. I have heard positive feedback about TU Wien studying but have limited knowledge of the UK job market.
Do you have any insights or advice?

Certainly, these programmes will give any candidate a marginally more interesting profile, but realistically an on-campus programme at a worse university will be more likely to lead to UK employment.

I don't think the TU or WUT have any of the three 'crown' accrediations (AACSB, AMBS or Equis), and it's wise to look for at least one of them in an EMBA. WUT has the new EFMD programmatic accrediation, so that's half a point.

Honestly, if I was a Ukrainian I would be looking at employment in Poland or the DACH region, and thus at a full time degree in one of those countries.

AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS accreditations are definitely important indicators of a business school's quality. While TU Wien and WUT might not hold these specific accreditations, it's essential to remember that accreditation is just one aspect of a program's overall value. TU Wien is respected with a few nobel laureates in their pocket in the tech and engineering sectors, which could be more relevant to your career in fintech.
The EFMD accreditation mentioned for WUT is a positive sign. Although not as widely recognized as the triple crown accreditations, it still shows a level of quality and international recognition. On the other hand, TU Wien with its strong focus on technology and innovation might be more aligned with your career goals, even without these specific accreditations.

The point about on-campus programs being more conducive to local employment is valid. However, given your experience and seniority, the international exposure and diverse network offered by an institution like TU Wien could equally enhance your profile. It's about leveraging the international experience to your advantage in the UK job market.
If you're considering not just the UK but also potential opportunities in the EU later on, an EMBA from an institution like TUW could provide broader geographical leverage. It can serve as a bridge to both markets. In a competitive job market like the UK's, having a unique educational background can sometimes be a strength. An EMBA from the TU, known for its technological focus, can help you stand out, particularly in fintech and big tech sectors.

I think you are mistaken in saying the TU Wien has a few Nobel laureates in its pocket.

I just looked it up, you may be right, it's just one, Ferenc Krausz. I thought Zeilinger was also from TU Wien, but he's apparently not :-)
