A friend of mine is considering EDHEC Global MBA program but has concerns as they don't have an FT ranking, does anyone have anything to say about the program? A program that is recognized in Europe, US, Canada Africa and anywhere in the world.

Are there other programs in Europe that has a Jan start date and well recognised? She's uncertain about where EDHEC will get her considering that they are not ranked by FT. Please advice.

Insead, HEC and IMD also have January start dates, maybe Lisbon-MIT as well. I think a January start is a great idea, because it allows a summer internship in the middle of the programme.

PS I don't think there are many programmes which are well recognised in *everywhere*. Very few of the non-US schools are known outside the big MBA-recruiting organisations (I am including even world-class schools like LBS, Insead, IE, IESE, CIEBS, IMD, HEC etc). As an LBS MBA alum, I often encounter people who think I am referring to the LSE. It's really only the big US schools that have global brand equity -- although they might not have global networks.
