There are several examples where some famous people changed their life by some simple decisions which looked like usual decisions or may be 'not so right decisions'.

Interesting question.
It might be cliché, but I think the way that Donald Trump handled his debt in the 1990s was a good decision. I mean, he had to do it, and he got into that position because of a number of bad decisions - but he decided to tackle it head on, and because of that decision he has better liquidity today.
Maybe some of our nations can learn from his example, hahaha
