Interesting question.
It might be cliché, but I think the way that Donald Trump handled his debt in the 1990s was a good decision. I mean, he had to do it, and he got into that position because of a number of bad decisions - but he decided to tackle it head on, and because of that decision he has better liquidity today.
Maybe some of our nations can learn from his example, hahaha
