Hi,
I am interested in doing Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) in the UK.
Yes, I know I should not post this in a "find MBA" forum. Any one knows of a good DBA/Ph.D forum?
My educational qualifications are from India.
1. B.Sc Physics, University of Madras (Full time)
2. M.Sc Physics, University of Madras (Full time)
3. B.Ed, Pondicherry University (Full time)
4. Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, Annamalai University (Distance Education)
5. Post Graduate Diploma International Business, Pondichery University (Distance Education)
I have working experience as shown below.
2 years Physics/Chemistry teaching
2 years Physics Research Assistant
3 years IT Development
4 years System Administration
4 years of IT Management
I am an Indian national and currently working in the UK (London) for RBS, I intend to work here for the next 4-6 years.
And would like to return home for IT senior management and/or academia.
Please advice me on a good DBA (part-time) respectable in the industry or academic world.
I am not too keen on doing a MBA/EMBA and I hope my educational qualifications are enough for getting DBA admission.
Would I be better off to try for Ph.D admission straight instead of DBA?
Thanks for any pointers.
Kind regards,
Ramesh

You can search for UK DBAs at http://www.mbaworld.com/guidetomba1/searchbusinessschool where the four listed are Aston, Cranfield, Manchester Met and Kingston. Also look at Manchester Business School, Henley and Durham.
