Hi - Anyone currently enrolled that could share there thoughts on the Online MBA program for Bradford? Been reading some past posts, just wanted an opinion from someone who is currently enrolled perhaps in the last couple of months (more updated opinion)..

Been considering Birmingham and Durhams' program as well so any feedback on those would be well appreciated. Board has some discussions and obviously points towards Durhams, but would like to consider other options.

Currently in Canada, I have no intentions of working abroad permanently, however I do travel for work on assignments and frequent the UK, so I figured it would be interesting to look into said programs. company is UK based and management speaks highly of those schools (including warwick/imperial) however I'll be sponsoring myself so I want to keep that in mind when looking at the bottom line.

Durham and Bradford are ranked in the FT, Birmingham is not. Does your company have connections with a business school? Perhaps you can ask around to see if there's any concrete feedback from your colleagues.

Keep in mind that FT online mba ranking only has 10 schools in it in total. So i have to doubt schools bother with it. Imperial and Manchester are not on the list either.

I'd say (my personal opinion, not a fact) Birmingham is 5th best online MBA in uk after warwick, manchester, imperial, and durham. And the price is pretty decent. That is generally speaking. The order depends on the needs of each applicant

There are only 6 other online MBAs worth discussing in UK: Strathclyde, Bradford, Aston, Liverpool, Leicester, Open (listed in no specific order). Of those only Strathclyde competes with Birmingham for the 5th place (I really don't know which one of these two is better for the online MBA)

For you napoli91, i'd say you need a school that has good reputation in Canada as well, since you will be working there. Isn't illinois a better fit for you?

I think the ft ranking is open only to cohort based programmes where students move in lockstep.

@Razors - thanks for the input, I've reached out to colleagues in the UK as you suggested for some concrete feedback! - thanks!

@George - Illinois would have been a great choice I agree, I've applied and am waiting to hear back (next couple of weeks) however I wanted to continue looking around the UK. I agree, Warwick, Imperial and Manchester were at the top of my list when I initially started looking into programs. Digging deeper, Durham,Bradford, Birmingham fell into a more realistic category for myself. Thank you for the feedback!

I'll continue to do some more research as suggested, thank you!
