Any room for veering away from a one-page motivation letter?

I read online elsewhere that one page is the recommended length, which to me makes sense but at the same time sounds quite concise. Is this considered standard praxis? I've found enough guides and guidelines when it comes to drafting it, but I had this final question about length itself. I'd like to include everything that's relevant to it, but I might have to learn to prioritise with care. Thanks for your help!

Follow the instructions of the school you are applying to. Most will ask for one page. Given the option to submit more. I would say that one page is better because it will be read by more people and shows you understand management communication. With my own clients, I'd say one in six have a letter over one page, and those are people with weak applications.
