Hey. Firstly i would like to say thanks to this web site. Because almost everything which i need, i can find here.
I am considering about apply International MBA program at MIP but im not sure about am i fit for it or not.
I graduated from mech. eng. at 2014. I have almost 3 years work experince and im still working. I think it is enough for schools requirements. But my GPA is really bad. Its 2.26 / 4. And i dont have any IELTS and GMAT score yet but i can get in a few months.
How do you think what is my chance to be accepted by MIP?
Thank you.

The quality of your work experience and GMAT score will be crucial. I see this on the MIP MBA website:

"Candidates interested in taking advantage of preparatory courses for GMAT/GRE exams can contact the test preparation company 700+CLUB. For more information visit the website www.700plus.club or write to [email protected]. Applicants of MIP will get a discount of 20%."

I am not familiar with this organisation, but it seems like a sign that MIP would like more candidates with 700-plus GMAT scores. If you had a strong GPA and four or five years *managerial* experience, then a GMAT of 620 would be enough. If you can get 700, then you should be in a strong position.

And, of course, there are so many great schools in Italy. Don't limit yourself to MIP. Look at MIB, LUISS and ESCP Torino, for example.

PS Oh, and CIMBA (the Iowa campus outside Venice) as well

Hey Duncan. I am following your posts with interest and thank you for being mentorship. Actually i am not an EU based country citizen and i would like to work at EU after MBA. Thats why i want to apply MIP. I heard they have a good career service and they are at top 50 MBA programs according to QS in Europe.
I have read your post about working at abroad without dont know their native language (I mean Italian for that case) but i want to try my chance. I can find a global company maybe ha?
Dear George actually i know i need to improve it, dont worry i will not take those exams before improving my language but thanks for advice.

GMAT average for MIP is around 620, but I would aim at least at 650 if you want to make it up for a low GPA.
There's also a mandatory test to be taken for the selection process.
