is 30 too old to try to pursue an MBA? i have 7 years of software development experience. i'm not interested in EMBA. i want to go into finance/investment banking.

Hello,
30 is just about the right age for an MBA. With 7 yrs of work experience you must have already learnt a lot about management and that would help you immensely in class once you are in a program.
If you research some good MBA programs worldwide, you will find that the average age of students is between 28 and 35. I would highly recommend you to apply for a full time MBA program rather than an EMBA.
Hope this info was of help to you. Furthermore, I am coming up with a web portal which will help MBA aspirants like you to be better informed and be equipped with all the relevant info so that they can make it to their dream B-Schools.
