No accredited MBA programs in Sweden?

I am from Sweden and would like to do an MBA here. I looked through this site, on this listing:

http://www.find-mba.com/sweden

... And then filtered by "Show AACSB-, AMBA- and EQUIS-accredited programs only", and I could not find a single full-time MBA program that is accredited. Am I missing something?

No. There are none.

PS It's perhaps more surprising that there isn't one in Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh or Nigeria, which are four of the world's eight most populous countries.

I agree with this, but what do people in Sweden and these other countries do? Go to another country to complete their MBAs?

They will, of course, overwhelmingly take programmes in Swedish which don't need international accreditation.

PS and of course pre-experience masters' degrees and post-experience part-time programmes are the norm more or less everywhere outside the USA. Sweden has no shortage of strong business schools and executive programmes, nor a strong need for professionals who don't speak Swedish, so an full-time English-language post-experience degree does not meet with much demand in the Nordic countries.

What about for international students who would like to work in Sweden? I am from India and am interested in living and working in Sweden for a few years, but I do not speak Swedish.

That's why markets require both supply and demand. What sort of managerial role in Sweden could be completed by someone who does not speak Swedish?

Take a look at Do you need to speak the local language? www.find-mba.com/board/34713

Yes, I understand. But I have seen job postings in Stockholm for a global management consulting firm, which was looking for consultants who were fluent in English only. So I was just curious about a good route to get a job like this.

I suggest you ask them where they recruit. I imagine that there's not much MBA-level hiring from Scandinavian schools in the region: analysts from MSc programmes, associates from PhDs and MBAs in other countries, and then experienced hires.

OK, I'll ask them, and see what they say. I'll report back in case anybody else is interested.
