I'm from India and am a banker by profession. I would like to know which school is better for an MBA in Italy ..is it MIP or SDA Bocconi.
I would be grateful if anyone can share the pros and cons of these schools and their programms.

If you search the discussion board you'll see a lot of discussion. SDA is clearly the better school.

How good is MIP MBA program in terms of quality of teaching and career services

I think the point about a top-tier MBA is that 'teaching' isn't the main form of learning. MIP is a good university and I am sure the faculty are good at their jobs. But at Bocconi the quality for students will be so much higher. MIP careers services will be okay, especially if you speak Italian. See http://www.find-mba.com/boardsearch/61/q/MIP

I totally agree with duncan. If you compare the two schools, you will find that the average gmat score for mip is only 570 while at bocconi it is 665. As a prospective student of one of the aforementioned universities, I would like to add that nothing really matters to me more than the quality of students at a particular university. Mip is a good school but in the past few years , I have seen students from the lower rung Indian universities with subpar grades flocking to mip and the other polytechnics in italy.
