I believe Andrea. There are many cases where people are admitted with low GMAT. Work experience and what they achieved during the work experience really matters. If it stands out then GMAT score will not be considered lots. I think that's the case with andrea. Congrats for the admit. People you can spot persons working in fire department of US end up in Harvard B school!!! What will you say for that?.The B schools in the top welcomes diversity and unique talents. Never mind their GMAT. GMAT score will be weighed lots only if you belong to a large pool of applicants of similar profiles. An Indian working in IT will require a high GMAT to make it into the big B schools because you can spot many applications of the same profile. Anyway congrats Andrea!!

Hi,
Was accepted for the MSc Finance program in EDHEC. Was just hoping to get opinions on EDHEC's standing in Europe and Asia, and what are employer's perception of EDHEC.

ongt0001, you should create another discussion blog.
So people can respond much faster and better, because the title is misleading if you want to ask about MSc Finance in EDHEC.

Btw, if you're going to study in france, there 3 things you should ask:
1. Is the school part of Grand Ecole? If yes, then good.
2. How fluent is your french? *this is crucial*
3. What kind of company does EDHEC attracts?
If EDHEC attracts non-finance companies, then you should worry.

Yeah.. this is a very strange place to ask about EDHEC.. that school has not been mentioned at all in this thread... I would start a new one or find one that has to do with EDHEC.

Can somebody throw some light on Manchester's part-time (global) MBA programs offered through Dubai Centre. I have been offered a place on part-time MBA from Manchester (Dubai Campus) for July 2010 intake. I have 10+ years of experience in banking/financial services with B. Com. Is it treated at par with full-time Manchester MBAs in the industry ?
