MBA Supply Chain Europe

Hi everybody, can somebody help me, I am looking for a full time MBA in a European country that has a focus on supply chain management. I keep coming across a school in Zurich called ETH but they just have a part time option so that won't work for me. Any country is fine, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, even England.

thank you!

What are your goals? Generally the MBA in Europe is a degree in general management. Probably the best full-time program in SCM in Europe is the MIT programme in Zaragoza, but that is not an MBA (although dual degrees are available to add an MBA).

Take a look at Specialisations often don't matter http://bit.ly/speMBA

I would say that if you already have some supply chain experience, really consider whether you actually need to do a specialized program. Instead, look at strong European programs that place well in supply chain or operations: Erasmus, HEC Paris, Copenhagen Business School. The MIT program that Duncan mentioned as well is great, given MIT's strengths in SCM.

However, the language issues comes in if you are looking at landing a job in the country you study in after graduation. Duncan's written a good post here:

If you don't speak other European languages besides English, maybe a school in the UK would be a better option...

Yes, that could be a problem.

In the UK, Birmingham has an MBA in Strategy and Procurement Management that might be interesting for you.

Otherwise, there are specialized MSc programs that you might look at: Manchester and Cass, for instance, have supply chain offerings.
