In my opinion it is not too late to do an MBA. You will be older than the average of 28 to 30 years older but it is not a significant barrier to developing a social and professional network in your program of choice. In fact, your experience will be an attractive element when your application is reviewed by an Admissions.
You may also consider an Executive MBA program where you will be interacting with a cohort that is more likely to share your senior level (entrepreneur) experience.
