MBA dual degree Germany

Sandyveen

Hi,

I'm a fresh graduate in bachelor's of business administration with business analytics from India. I want to pursue an MBA/Masters in Management. I looked at IGC's website about their dual program. I want to know if they are legit and if I can find a good job after that. Apart from IGC, i also looked at University of Cologne and their dual masters in management and finance.

Can someone tell me which one is better since IGC offers an MBA but where as Cologne offers a Masters in Management?

PS: I plan to return back to india to work.

Cologne is a much better school, part of a traditional research university, and is an FT ranked MSc. IGC is not. Only the finance path with UNCW leads to an meaningfully accredited MBA, and I assume entry to that is competitive. If you can get into the UNCW path, especially if you can start at UNCW (which I think means applying through UNCW), then I think that is a better choice for India. If you wanted to work in Germany, then Cologne is way better and the quality of students and faculty will be higher at a university than at a fachhochschule.

If you're planning on returning to India after you graduate, it's interesting that you are looking only at programs in Germany. Wouldn't there be stronger schools, with better networks in India, in another European country (like the UK)? What kinds of networks do these schools have in India? Researching that, through LinkedIn, etc. would be a good start.

The UK would cost much more.
