Hello Sara,
yes, Leipzig School of management is among the better b schools in Germany, it has a good reputation.
Generally speaking I have to add though that German MBA programs tend to be more useful for a career in the German speaking part of Europe, because they are less internationally orientated. For instance if they are accredited, it is usually by FIBAA which is a German based accreditation body not so well known internationally.
What are you planning to do after the MBA?

Hello Sarah,
HHL is a very good school for the undergrads (Diplom-Kaufmann) but, as far as their MBA is concerned, it is absolutely bad. From this current class, I have heard that two students had already left as the level of their career service and of their classes is atrocious...Moreover, for non German speakers (I mean by that non fluent speakers), there is no real option after graduation as nobody outside Germany knows that school.
So it is better to consider another option if you are not already a bilingual German speaker....

Dear all,
First of all I should mention that I am a current student at HHL in the MBA program and I should say that HHL may not be a Harvard nut in the end the program totally pays off your money.
As an answer to Oscar, what you have heard is true two of our friends have left the program, one because of his personal targets were not aligned with an MBA and now he is now in Belgium studying international relations, second has left because he has found a really nice job. As you see just saying two people has left is not so fair to judge a program.
On the other hand the goodness or badness of the program depends on your personal goals, what kind job you want, where do you want to work and those kind of things.
From my part, I am almost over with the program and I am satisfied with 90% of the program.
If you guys want further info, please ask..and if you want direct contact with the school you can simply send an email to Mrs. Petra Spanka: [email protected]
I hope this helps to answer your questions.
take care and viel erfolg :)

I have read Oscar's answer again and realized that I should give more info..
First of all just how can you say that the program is absolutely bad, just because two person have left the program and you have no idea why they have left. I think you should rethink about your reasoning..
Secondly, I am not a German and not a fluent German speaker. Of course there are some difficulties in finding jobs since you do not speak the language of the country, however this is not really a problem because good companies think that they can not make you qualified but they can teach you German and if you are not targeting those good companies then why you are thinking of having an MBA, right?
Anyway, in total I should advise you to ignore Oscar's entry due to reasons I have mentioned above. May be he has some personal issues with the school or any other reason but before making your decision I advice you to dig real deep.
good luck!
