How about MSc in ESCP for Japanese?

K J

Hello all. I'm japanese and recently got admission to MSC in Energy MAnagement in ESCP School.
I'm 28 and have expereience shipping company for 4 years. I wnat to move my career into Gas shipping which is the main reason to study in this major.
Besides, CMA CGM is my target company and want to get opportunity in France.

However, my french is poor but plan to study more. I also heard that some japanese or koreans are working without french language.
I'd like to get precious and sincere advice if it is totally impossible to get a job or intenrnship in france as an asian even after graduating from ESCP.

Many THanks.

I had Japanese and Korean classmates at university in Lyon and Munich. Language skills, especially conversation skills, and a passion for the local culture were key. If France is your passion, learn French and study in French.

It's not about the university you went but your level of french. Don't expect too much if you are not fluent.

They mean that your level of French has more impact on your outcomes than the choice of university or business school. C1 or C2 French and a cheap course from a state university opens more doors than A1 or A2 French after a top business school. Imagine, if I graduate from Keio business school and cannot speak Japanese,  what management job can I do in Japan?
