Hi Beate, I only know that its a very new program and quite expensive. If you can read German there is a recent article at spiegel-online about the European School for Management and Technology with a lot of details: http://www.spiegel.de/unispiegel/jobundberuf/0,1518,351031,00.html
Hope that helps!

Hi! I saw an ad by ESMT in the Economist, they seem to be offering quite a few scholarships. Is any of you going to apply?

hi , i have got an offer from ESMT , they have promised a substantial Scholarship.
Since this is a brand new program , wanted to find out more abt the school. Specifically wanted to find out about the Industry - School tie up , which is the USP of this program.

As far as I know the school is directly linked to the following companies: Allianz, Axel Springer, BMW, Bosch, Boston Consulting, Daimler-Chrysler, Deutsche Bank, Deutsche Lufthansa, Deutsche Post World Net, Deutsche Telekom, EADS, Eon, Hypo-Vereinsbank, KPMG, MAN, McKinsey, Münchener Rück, Ruhrgas, RWE, SAP, Schering, Siemens and Thyssen-Krupp. Some pretty big names in there, but I am not sure how close the ties are during and after the program...

I suppose it is taught in english, and what I think is interesting is the business that are behind it. I would really appreciate some more information about it, or even other good center that offer MBA'S!

Thanks.

Yes it is taught in English. I think the tuition is about 50,000 USD, which is quite a lot. But as it is a new program, they seem to be offering quite a lot of funding.

Hi all,
I applied to ESMT and got a place. Got ?35K Scholarship, and don't have to pay the rest back between mid2007 and 2012 - ?1000 every 6 months. Very happy with my choice. 5 weeks to go :)

ESMT has just launched a new 21 month EMBA with concentrations in "International Management" and "Technology & Innovation". The program will begin in autumn 2007.

The ESMT full-time MBA program is in its second year. The Class of 2007 has 37 participants from 21 different countries (this information is on the homepage, but some people here may not know). From what I have heard, EMST has been pretty generous in granting scholarships for the full-tme MBA in the first year of ts existence, but will not provide any financial support for the EMBA, which will cost ...57.000 Euro.

I got this information from the Financial Times. I could not find the EMBA fees on the ESMT website. If you want to download the EMBA Brochure, you can only do that after entering your full details. Pretty annoying.
