hi
well thanx for the info....
the reason y i chose esade?? well...there are many,i was in a dilemma for about a week before i could decide.....but for me and the course im doing, esade is the best option.
IE and ESADE are definitely equally prestigious, but i am goin for a master course and not an MBA,and in the financial times ranking IE does not come in the list of best places for a master course in europe, whereas esade is #15.The master course at IE is relatively new and started just 2-3years back.
Moreover after a lottttttttttt of research i realized that i would prefer barcelona as a city as opposed to madrid.
thirdly,i found out that the career services are slightly better at ESADE than IE.and ESADE claims 98% placement.
I contacted a dozen alumni from each school and then reached my decision.
How about u? what are your options?Hope to see you in barcelona.I will be leavin for spain in about 10days.Where are you based?
good luck

I should have clarified. It's true that catalan is a completely different language -- it's as big as the difference between spanish and french. However, Barcelona is a big, metropolitan city and from what I've heard the main language spoken in teh city is Castillian/Spanish. Even the natives all know both Catalan and Castillian, so they can speak to you in either. It is really only when you go outside of the city center that you might encounter people w ho only speak Catalan. I think you have made a good choice! Let us know how it goes!
