Confuse over admission

@gboy: Sorry, but since I am German, I cannot give you any valuable input concerning visa regulations.
Job prospects: That crucially depends on your German skills. Of course, there are some jobs (mostly startups) where the working language is English but in most cases, German employers expect you to have working proficiency in the local language. If you manage to do this, finding a decent job won't be hard, I guess. Just to illustrate this: At the moment, we have recruiting season at HHL. This means that, in April, OC&C, McKinsey and P&G will be on campus and/or give a company dinner in the city.

Gboy, how good is your German now? The intensive course in August won't make any fluent. Start now to study the language intensively. Also consider whether it might be better to study German full-time for six months or a year, and then come to HHL.

Thanks a lot for your inputs
@Naked, I guess I will have to work pretty hard to achieve C1/C2 level. Well I saw some campus events in the site of HHL.
Guess I have to clarify the visa issue from the embassy
@Duncan, I dont have certified knowledge of german, I only have handful of material, internet help, tips from local tutors. I am working on my German as much as I can before the program starts. I was planning to join August classes because I thought it will be nice to learn from the native speakers! But, I can't afford to study German a whole year and then reapply to HHL. I dont think I will need so.

gboy. With that approach I think you won't be fluent in German by the time you start interviewing. There are few jobs that don't require German in Germany.

Attah, what's your budget? Take a look at mastersportal.eu

Pforzheim comes to mind. Take a look at http://www.find-mba.com/board/26446 and http://www.find-mba.com/board/36813

Also read over: http://www.find-mba.com/boardsearch/q/uc3m+ceu

Westminster is double your budget: http://www.westminster.ac.uk/courses/subjects/business-and-management/postgraduate-courses/full-time/p01fpmbw-master-of-business-administration There are better MBAs for the same money.

If I had your budget, I think I would instead look at an MSc at a better business school like MIP Politecnico Di Milano, Audencia Nantes School of Management, Vlerick Business School, Toulouse Business School, Grenoble Ecole de Management or NEOMA Business School.

The Grenoble MBA costs £24,000 which is well over your budget. It would be much better to study that in Grenoble, where there are great facikities and strong placement support. lbsf does not have that. Its other courses are not strong.

Let me tell you abit more about my self. I am from Afghanistan and there is no GMAT facility here. as a result, I am trying to enroll my self in Schools which don't require GMAT Score.

now, I have an unconditional offer from Cardiff Business School and waiting for AKF Scholarship in this month to be approved. If I don't get the fund from AKF then, I am trying to study at Chester University where there is a special discount for Afghan students. the actual tuition fee for MBA at Chester is 11k sterling pound but for Afghans it is around 6k sterling pound. as I said, my budget is 20k usd and I can study at Chester without working and can concentrate fully on my MBA.

If I get the fund for Cardiff, I will definitely study there. otherwise, I have to study at Chester. how is the job prospects in london after graduating from Chester? can I land a better job there?

Please respond to my each question in details. Sorry for being so inquisitive. your help will be of utmost importance in this regard.

I don't think that Chester will claim any success in placing most, or even many, Afghan students into UK jobs, in London or elsewhere.

If you want to work in the UK, then get into the very best school you can. Look at the FT-ranked MSc and MBA programmes, and compare their employment scores and international mobility.

Thank you sir.

As you said, with my budget, I have to look for MSc so I am doing it. I have checked some universities in Canada with an affordable tuition fees. the problem I saw is they don't accept three years bachelor degree and it is mentioned that the applicant should have four years bachelor degree.

I did my Bachelors in Business Administration from India passed with first class honors. my percentage is 74%.

Please let me know if there are some universities that I can apply in Canada for my Masters.

Regards,
Attah

Dear Sir

Based on the ranking from Guardian, Cardiff ranks 17th with having only AACSB accreditation but the Schools of Hull, Shiffield, Henley and Bradford ranks lower than the Cardiff and I have offers from the latter fourth business schools with having triple accreditation.

could you please advise me on selecting one of the best business school with global influence and better job prospect after completion.

Attah
