Any comments on how the two above MBA programs compare? Which one has more brand awareness across southeast / east Asia?

HKU is much more known. It's much older. QS ranks it among the 25 top universities worldwide. SMU is around 500th.

In terms of their business schools though, and specifically their full-time MBA programs, SMU does quite well in the FT's ranking, and the two schools are fairly close. HKU does better in terms of salary and salary growth, but not by much.

Which is better for careers in financial services?
