In Business, especially Finance HK UST is much better.
It has a reputation for cutting edge research and excellent western educated faculty.

HKUST utilizes a lot of case-based analysis in lectures, similar to other US/Europe B-school. Also, HK UST has a diverse student body and reputation in research, Finance, Chinese economy and strategic management. HK UST has a good exchange program that you can exchange to more than 25 reputated b-schools, like LBS, HEC in Europe, CEIBS in China and other US b-schools.
