Part-Time Accelerated MBA Program Announced by Tepper School

The new two-year, part-time program is the latest addition to Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business, and aims to offer a more expeditious and affordable MBA format

Tepper's new program offers students the possibility to take on an analytics-focused curriculum in an all-new format, consisting primarily of online lessons at an accelerated pace. The first semester will include refresher coursework, where credits may be transferred into the program if the degree or the courses were acquired within the last seven years. The program offers the possibility to go into a full-time, in-person format after the first year of coursework.

In the words of the executive director of masters admissions, Kelly Wilson, “In just two years, the Tepper School’s Accelerated MBA program will prepare students to manage people, build networks of influence, and inspire others to solve the world’s most complex problems.”

The accelerated MBA program will be taught by the same professors in charge of its full-time counterpart and it promises to be just as rigorous. The program takes into account the fast-paced, dynamic world of today: “As we continue to work toward a more intelligent future, flexible and accessible options are a priority for us at the Tepper School,” pointed out Isabelle Bajeux.Besnainou, dean of the Tepper Business School.

The program will officially launch this fall, and Tepper is already accepting applications.
